Executive Suites 6
Executive Suite 6 is a spacious room that retains its original wooden floors and features a long-length king-size bed, which can also be configured as twin beds. The suite is equipped with air-conditioning, coffee and tea facilites, a stocked mini honesty bar, a TV, and unlimited internet access. The en-suite bathroom boasts an opulent bath, an oversized shower, a toilet, and a bidet spout. This room has a private staircase leading up to it, and a large porch area perfect for private dining or simply relaxing while overlooking the garden with the mountains in the background. Additionally, the suite includes a small single bed in the entrance hall, ideal for accommodation a child. A cot can also be provided for infants, making this room a versatile option for families.

Jan Harmsgat became famous for its oranges, which trived in the local climate. Four giant old orange trees, planted by Hermanus Steyn, de Oude, produced wagonloads of oranges for 150 years. However, these historic trees were eventually cut down by van Eeden, who used the timber to create five dozen orangewood chairs. This transformation of the ancient trees into furniture marks a unique chapter in the farm’s storied history, blending its agricultural heritage with craftmanship.
